Snapshot emails, Slack alerts, reports, and subscriptions send Demandbase insights directly to sales teams. Sales teams can use the information to prioritize efforts and optimize their strategies to close opportunities.
Snapshot Emails
Snapshot emails summarize key account activities and trends, offering a quick overview of performance metrics and engagement levels.
Important:
- Demandbase automatically subscribes account owners to weekly Account List Snapshot emails when you set up Auto-Create Account List.
- The default filters assigned in View Management are also applied to Snapshot emails. See Create and Manage User Views (View Management).
Snapshot Types
Demandbase provides the following Snapshot types:
- Account List: Filters sections by accounts owned by Account Owner.
- Sales Development Representative: Filters sections by accounts owned by Sales Development Representative.
- Account Executive: Filters sections by accounts owned by Account Executive.
- Marketing: Filters sections by accounts owned by Marketing.
Important: You can’t create Snapshot types.
Snapshot Sections
By default, each Snapshot type includes system sections and reports provided by Demandbase. You can choose the sections and reports (including your custom reports) you want in the Snapshots. See Configure Settings for Snapshot Emails.
Important: You can’t edit the system sections.
The Demandbase system sections are as follows:

Navigate Snapshot Emails
You can access the Demandbase web app by clicking on records in Snapshot emails.
Important: For custom reports, the "See Full Report" and "See Locations" links route you to Demandbase One for Marketing (DB1M).
- If a user has the Demandbase One for Sales permission set or a custom permission set that includes access to Sales, they’re routed to DB1S.
- If they do not have access to Sales, they’re routed to DB1M.
Slack Alerts
If you integrate Demandbase with Slack, you can receive Demandbase alerts directly in Slack. Depending on the feature, alerts appear either as real-time alerts in the Messages tab or as a daily AI-generated summary in the Home tab.
Demandbase supports the following Slack alerts:
Important: The default filters assigned in View Management are NOT applied to Slack alerts.
Subscription Alerts
Subscriptions can be delivered to Slack. You can specify who receives the subscription, the frequency, and the duration. See Configure Subscriptions.
Website Visitor Alerts
Website Visitor alerts notify you about website activity in near real time in the Messages tab. These alerts help sales teams quickly follow up on account engagement with timely, personalized outreach.
Users can customize website visit alerts by including or excluding accounts and excluding specific web pages. See Create or Customize Slack Alerts for Website Visitors.
Important: Demandbase automatically subscribes account owners to Website Visitor Slack alerts when you set up Auto-Create Account List.
Demandbase AI Insights Hub
The Demandbase AI Insights Hub provides a daily AI-generated summary in the Home tab of the Demandbase Slack app. The summary highlights the most important account activity, engagement trends, recommended contacts, and suggested next steps.

Navigate Slack Alerts
You can click account and person links in Website Visitor alerts and the AI Insights Hub daily summary to open the corresponding record in Demandbase.
- If you only have a Demandbase One for Marketing license, links open the corresponding record in Demandbase One for Marketing.
- If you have a Demandbase One for Marketing and Demandbase One for Sales license, links open the corresponding record in Demandbase One for Sales.
Reports
A report is a table of data based on specific criteria important to various team members. Reports offer detailed analysis and visualizations of data, helping teams to track progress, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
Reports are based on the following objects:
- Account
- Person
- Activity
- Opportunity
Demandbase provides a set of standard reports. You can customize these preconfigured reports or create new reports.
Subscriptions
A subscription is a way of delivering reports or Snapshots through emails or Slack alerts. See Configure Subscriptions.
There are two types of report subscriptions:
- Single List Subscription: Send the report or Snapshot to yourself or a few people.
- Personalized Subscription: Send the report or Snapshot to users so they only see the accounts they own. Use this option if you want to easily set up a subscription for multiple account owners.
