Understanding the Account Dashboard and Accounts Page

In Demandbase, Accounts come from your CRM, CSV upload, and Demandbase. See Understanding the Demandbase Database for information on how we sync accounts into Demandbase.

Account Dashboard

The Account Dashboard shows details about the activities and engagement for a single account during a selected date range.

To access the Account Dashboard, go to:

  • From the Accounts, People, Opportunities, and Activity table, click on an account.
  • From the Account, Person, Opportunity, and Activity Database, click on an account and click Go to Dashboard.
  • From the Account List Dashboard, click on an account’s card in the Accounts and Accounts with Highest Intent section.

To filter the dashboard, use the quick filters at the top of the page. See Create and Manage User Views (View Management).

Tip: Admins customize the dashboard sections added from the Dashboard Setting page. The following sections can be added to the Account Dashboard:

Account Details 

The Account Details section displays by default and shows you key information about an account. 

From the section you can:

  • Click Take Action to perform a task such as adding the account to an account list or Salesforce Campaign. See Taking Action with Accounts and People.
  • Click Manage Account to go to b9d48320-926f-4b3c-9410-8a00b7aae3e4 Database > Account to see more information about the Account.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to the Take Action button to show additional account information.

Quick Cards

The Quick Cards section gives you quick links to customized pages in the Analytics section. Click on a Quick Card to open the customized page where you can take action on specific insights.

Tip: Admins can customize the Quick Cards that appear in this section.

KPI Cards

The KPI Cards section shows an account's Qualification Score, Pipeline Predict Score, Journey Stage, and the number of Account Lists the account qualifies for.

To see the top factors that determine the Predictive Score for the account, go to the Qualification Score and Pipeline Predict Score card and hover over the score label (e.g. All, Advertising Only.) The pop-up shows the top factors that contribute to the Predictive Score for the account.

To see the account lists the account qualifies for, click the Account Lists card.

Highlights

The Highlights section shows the most engaged people for an account. For each person, you can see the total Engagement Minutes and completed activities. See Highlights for the list of tracked activities.

You can open the Person dashboard and see related metrics when you click on a person’s card.
You can also take the following quick actions when you hover over a person’s card:

  • Click the Salesforce icon to access the person’s record in Salesforce.
  • Click the LinkedIn icon to access the person’s profile in LinkedIn.
  • Click the Outreach icon to add the person to an Outreach Sequence. For more information, see Take Action: Outreach Sequences.

Important: The Salesforce and Outreach quick actions are only available if you have the integrations set up.

Timeline

The Timeline section shows engagement for an account in the Deal Story and Engagement views.

The Deal Story view highlights key activities for the account and lets you view Marketing Engagement activities, Sales Engagement activities, or both. You can also see the progression of the account through your Journey Stages.

Timeline Acct3.pngThe Engagement view shows Engagement Minutes by activity for an account. You can view total Engagement Minutes for all activities or for a selected activity. You can also view Engagement Minutes grouped by relevant Demandbase fields to gain additional insights.

Intent Keywords

The Intent Keywords section includes tabs for Top Intent Keywords and Competitive Intent for an account. You can see the keywords on web pages being read (sorted by intent strength) and if the keywords are trending.

Site Analytics

The Site Analytics section includes a trend chart that shows the number of unique visitors and page views for an account. You can also see the top pages visited, the number of page views, percentage change, and whether this is an increase or decrease.

Click on the Unique Visitors card to open the Site Analytics page and see related metrics.

Predictive Scores

The Predictive Scores section shows the Pipeline Predict and Qualification Scores for an account. You can sort columns and search or filter by score.

Tip: Sort the Predictive Score column in descending order to identify the most relevant scores for the account.

Communication History

The Communication History section shows the email messages and meetings between your company and an account. For communication history to appear, your company can set up an Email Service Account or individual users can authenticate their own Google or Microsoft account.

Important: The information in the Communication History section is not based on the selected date range.

Heatmap

The Heatmap section provides a visual overview of the activities for an account. See Understanding Heatmaps.

Accounts Page

The Accounts page in Analytics provides details about the accounts in the account list.

To access the Accounts page, select an account list and go to d3582dc7-d775-453a-b960-2ac40a9f1145 Analytics > Accounts from the left navigation bar.

To filter the page, use the quick filters at the top of the page. See Create and Manage User Views (View Management).

Accounts Table

The Accounts table displays information about accounts in the selected account list.

You can adjust and sort columns, search for people, and export data directly from the table.
