Understanding the Demandbase One for Sales Access Options

You can access Demandbase One for Sales (formerly Sales Intelligence) using the web app, iFrame, or browser extension. The features that you have available differ depending on the option you choose. 

Important: View Management in Demandbase One for Marketing can impact the view for users in Demandbase One for Sales. See Create and Manage User Views (View Management)

Access Using the Demandbase One for Sales Web App

The Demandbase One for Sales web app gives you access to all the features available in Demandbase One for Sales. When you first access the web app, the Prescriptive Sales Dashboards enable you to identify and focus on the accounts with the highest likelihood of becoming pipeline and closed-won opportunities. You can also search for and research your target companies, build lists of companies and people, and manage your watchlists, agents, and connections.

To access the web app, navigate to https://web.demandbase.com/sales from a supported browser.

Access Using the Demandbase One for Marketing Web App

You can access the Demandbase One for Sales web app from the navigation bar, account list dashboard, and account dashboard in the Demandbase One for Marketing web app.

Navigation Bar

Log in the Demandbase for Marketing web app. From the left navigation bar, click the Hndshake.png handshake icon. You are automatically redirected to the Demandbase for Sales web app.

Highlights Section on Account List Dashboard

Log in the Demandbase for Marketing web app. From the left navigation bar, go to Analytics2.png Analytics > Dashboard. Select an account list and specify a date range. See Understanding the Account List Dashboard.

Go to the Highlights section, hover over a person card, and click See contact data. You are automatically redirected to the matched person in the Demandbase for Sales web app.
Tip: You can only see the See contact data link if there is a matched person in Demandbase One for Sales.

Highlights Section on Account Dashboard

Log in the Demandbase for Marketing web app. From the left navigation bar, go to Analytics2.png Analytics > Dashboard. Select an account and specify a date range. See Understanding the Account Dashboard and Accounts Page.

Go to the Highlights section and click bottom right See more contacts. You are automatically redirected to the list of people for the matched account in the Demandbase for Sales web app.

Access Using the iFrame

If you’re integrated with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Outreach, you can install and access the iFrame in your CRM. The iFrame provides information for an account within your CRM records. The record types where the iFrame can be displayed depends on your CRM integration.

The other Demandbase One for Sales features such as search, list building, watchlists, and connections can be accessed from the web app. 

To open the web app, click the three lines at the top right of the iFrame and select Open Web App or another available option.

Access Using the Browser Extension

The browser extension lets you access Demandbase One for Sales wherever you are on the web. The browser extension can be installed for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and accessed from any web page you visit. You can also access the browser extension on company and contact profiles on LinkedIn, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

From the browser extension, you can view company and people information, engagement, and insights for accounts identified on the web pages you visit.

The other Demandbase One for Sales features such as search, list building, watchlists, and connections can be accessed from the web app. 

To open the web app, click the three lines at the top right of the browser extension and select Open Web App or another available option.
