What are AI Credits?
AI Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features in Demandbase. Before processing an AI request, Demandbase checks your organization's available AI Credit balance and any configured usage limits.

AI Credit Limit Alerts
If your administrator configures user-level AI credit limits in the Credit Usage dashboard, the following occurs when a user reaches their configured limit:
- A limit-exceeded notification appears in the AI Agent UI.
- The user cannot continue using the agent until the limit resets.
- Daily limits reset at midnight UTC.
Administrators receive an email notification when your organization reaches 70% and 90% of its AI Credit limit. Each threshold triggers only one notification. If both thresholds are reached on the same day, only the 90% notification is sent.
If your organization frequently reaches its AI Credit limit, contact your Demandbase Account Team.
Monitor and Manage AI Credit Usage
Admins can monitor AI Credit usage and configure usage limits in the Credit Usage dashboard. See Understanding the Credit Usage Dashboard.
Admins can also enable or disable Agentbase Generative AI capabilities . See Manage Demandbase Agentbase AI Agent Features.
What Affects AI Credit Usage?
AI credit usage depends on the amount of information processed and the complexity of the request. Requests that require more AI processing generally consume more AI credits.
Requests that typically use more AI credits include:
- Longer prompts
- More context to analyze
- Multiple requested outputs
- Follow-up revisions
- Complex or multi-step tasks
- AI-generated content
- AI-powered research
- Intent analysis
- Summarization and recommendations
Requests that typically use fewer AI credits include:
- Simple lookups
- Short prompts
- Requests with limited context
- Single-step tasks
AI Credits for Demandbase AI Chat Prompts and Responses
Demandbase AI Chat uses 100 AI credits for each prompt and response.
If you ask a follow-up question, that prompt and the AI’s response use another 100 credits.
Example:
- Prompt and response: 100 credits
- Follow-up prompt and final response: 100 credits
- Total: 200 credits

The following Agentbase capabilities consume AI credits:
