FAQs: AI Credits

  • Updated

Do all Demandbase Agent features consume AI Credits?

No. Only Agent features identified as credit-consuming deduct AI Credits. Read-only summaries, recommendations, and certain setup experiences may be available without consuming credits.

For example, viewing Account Insights or Person Insights does not consume AI Credits. Generating or regenerating an email draft does consume AI Credits.

See Understanding AI Credits.

What is the difference between my AI Credit balance and a daily AI Credit limit?

Your AI Credit balance is the total number of AI Credits available under your Demandbase agreement. A daily AI Credit limit controls how many AI Credits can be consumed within a single day.

Reaching the daily limit temporarily pauses credit-consuming Agent activity until the limit resets, even if your organization still has remaining AI Credits.

What is the difference between Demandbase AI Credits and MCP credits?

Demandbase AI Credits and MCP credits are separate.

  • Demandbase AI Credits are used by eligible Agent features within Demandbase.
  • MCP credits are used to access Demandbase data through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as retrieving Demandbase records for use by an external large language model (LLM).

Using one type of credit does not reduce the balance of the other.

Do unused AI Credits roll over?

No. AI Credits are available for the applicable contract period. Unused credits expire at the end of that period and do not roll over.

Can I purchase additional AI Credits?

Yes. If your organization needs additional AI Credits, contact your Demandbase Account Team.
