Understanding Account Intelligence Agent

Account Intelligence Agent (AIA) in Demandbase One for Sales is a conversational AI assistant that uses natural language to answer questions about accounts and people.

AIA analyzes account data from both first-party and third-party sources to deliver contextual answers and recommendations. It helps you understand account fit, engagement, buying signals, contacts, technologies, opportunities, and recent business activity.

AIA is designed to support in-depth research on a specific account, providing account-focused insights rather than broad, cross-account analysis.

Important: When viewing an individual account record, AIA uses that account's context and returns information only for that account.

AIA Interface Overview

The AIA interface includes the following:

  • Menu: Start a new chat or see existing threads.
  • Main chat area: Central canvas where your conversation takes place. 
  • Quick prompts: Quick prompts provided by Demandbase.
  • Expand: Expand the chat interface.
  • New chat: Start a new chat.
  • Close: Click X to close the chat interface.

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Demandbase One for Marketing and Demandbase One for Sales licenses.
  • Your organization must not opt-out of Demandbase AI features. See Manage Agentbase Generative AI Capabilities.
  • You must have Admin privileges, be assigned the Demandbase One for Sales permission set, or another permission set that has access to the following:
    • Go to Settings N.png Settings > User Management > Permission Set > [Permission Set] > Configuration > Sales tab > View Sales > Account Intelligence Agent.
  • We highly recommend integrating with a CRM and Marketing Automation System to provide the most complete and accurate insights.

Access Account Intelligence Agent in Demandbase One for Sales

  1. Log in to https://web.demandbase.com/sales.
  2. Open an Account or Person record.
  3. Click top right AI Insights.
  4. Start a new conversation or continue an existing conversation using the chat area.
    Tip: AIA supports multi-turn conversations, allowing you to refine analysis, apply additional filters, and explore related insights through follow-up questions without starting over.
