In order to view the Demandbase One for Sales (DBS) Homepage, users must have the right license and permissions in Demandbase One.
Certain sections of the Sales Homepage (for example, account lists, Journey Funnel, and intent keyword sets) rely on configurations in Demandbase One for Marketing. See Configurations in Demandbase One for Marketing.
License Requirements
The plays you can access depend on your license. Reach out to your Demandbase Account Team for more information.
- Demandbase One: Access to all plays.
- Demandbase One for Sales-only: Access to only “Discover accounts that have been in the news recently" play.
Permissions Requirements
You can grant access to DBS by assigning the system-generated Demandbase One for Sales permission set, or by assigning a custom permission set that includes access to Sales. See Create Users for Demandbase One for Sales and Create and Manage Permission Sets.
Important: Admins do not automatically have access to DBS. Make sure the appropriate permissions are granted to each admin user.
Make sure the following are configured within the permission set.
Account Lists
- Analytics > Dashboard
- Database > Account List > View Only or Can Edit
Journey Stages
Settings > Journey > Account Journey Builder > View Only or Can Edit
Site Analytics
Analytics > Engagement > Site Analytics
Take Action
Settings > Integrated Systems > Action Configurations > View Only or Can Edit
