What are AI Credits?
AI Credits are consumed when you use certain AI-powered features in Demandbase.
When a user uses a credit-consuming AI feature, Demandbase checks the available AI credit balance and any configured usage limits before processing the request.
Agents may use AI credits when they:
- Process prompts and instructions
- Analyze provided context
- Generate content, summaries, or recommendations
- Revise previous responses
- Perform research or analysis
AI credits are used by features such as:
- Generative content
- Intent analysis
- Account research
- AI-powered prospecting
- Predictive scoring

AI Credit Budget
The AI credit budget is determined by your agreement with Demandbase and is reset daily.
When a user reaches their daily AI credit limit:
- A limit-exceeded notification appears in the AI Agent UI.
- The user cannot continue using the agent until the limit resets.
- Daily limits reset at midnight UTC.
Admins receive an email notification when your organization reaches 90% of its AI credit limit.
If your organization frequently reaches AI credit limits, contact your Demandbase Account Team.
Monitoring AI Credit Usage
Admins can monitor and configure AI credit usage in the Credit Usage dashboard. See Understanding the Credit Usage Dashboard.
What Affects AI Credit Usage?
AI credit usage depends on the amount of information processed and the complexity of the request.
Features that typically use more AI credits include:

Tips to Reduce AI Credit Usage
To use AI credits efficiently:
- Use clear, specific prompts.
- Provide only the context needed for the task.
- Start with one or two requested outputs before expanding.
- Refine the best option instead of generating many alternatives at once.
- Avoid asking AI Agents to process unnecessary page sections or unrelated instructions.
