Understanding Google Workspace Email Sync

  • Updated

Demandbase syncs emails and calendar meetings from authenticated Google Workspace users and combines this activity with CRM and Marketing Automation System data to provide a comprehensive view of target account engagement.

Users can grant Demandbase access to their Google Workspace emails and calendar events by connecting their Google account or signing in using Google Single Sign-On (SSO). When users sign in with Google SSO for the first time, they can grant Demandbase permission to sync their emails and calendar events for Communication History.

Tips:

  • Users who don't want to grant Demandbase access to their Google Workspace emails and calendar events can sign in using Demandbase authentication (email and password) instead of Google SSO. Changing login methods does not revoke previously granted permissions.
  • Admins can also use an Email Service Account to authenticate multiple Demandbase users without requiring individual authentication.

After users grant the required permissions, Demandbase syncs up to six months of email and calendar history.
