You can manage communication history tracking by email address, domain, or account from the Email Access Control page.
Tip: Excluding internal accounts is recommended if you have demo accounts or other divisions listed as accounts. This prevents syncing internal communication.

Prerequisites
You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.
Steps: Include Email Addresses or Accounts
All emails (including CC, BCC) and meetings are synced to Demandbase.
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Platform > Email Access Control.
- Go to the Include tab.

Manage Included Email Addresses: Includes all communication history based on email address.
- Select Demandbase users from the dropdown or switch to text view to type email addresses manually.
- To include an entire email domain, enter @domain.com.

Manage Included Account List: Includes all communication history based on accounts on the account list.
- Select account lists from the dropdown or switch to text view to type account lists manually.
- Click Save Changes.
Steps: Exclude Email Addresses or Accounts

- From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Platform > Email Access Control.
- Go to the Exclude tab.

To delete all communication history from excluded emails or accounts, check the box next to Auto Delete Exclude Communication History.
Important: Once communication history is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Related activities and engagement minutes are also deleted. -
