Understanding Microsoft Exchange Email Sync

  • Updated

Demandbase syncs emails and calendar meetings from authenticated Microsoft Exchange users and combines this activity with CRM and Marketing Automation System data to provide a comprehensive view of target account engagement.

Users can grant Demandbase access to their Microsoft Exchange emails and calendar events by connecting their Microsoft account or signing in using Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO). When users sign in with Microsoft SSO for the first time, they can grant Demandbase permission to sync their emails and calendar events for Communication History.

Tip: Users who don't want to grant Demandbase access to their Microsoft Exchange emails and calendar events can sign in using Demandbase authentication (email and password) instead of Microsoft SSO. Changing login methods does not revoke previously granted permissions.

After users grant the required permissions, Demandbase syncs up to six months of email and calendar history.
