Demandbase’s Analytics streamlines account-based reporting to gather insight on daily activity from your target accounts. A key element of engagement is what is captured within your email client. After connecting Demandbase to your email client, the system collects email history from the last six months. You can also assign engagement minutes to emails received from Accounts and meetings with people from key Accounts.
Leverage the Exchange/Office 365 integration to browse email threads in Communication History to see conversations between your company and their company.
At most companies, there are multiple internal stakeholders that work with an account, and Communication History allows each stakeholder to understand the full history of conversations with a customer.
Easily connect your Exchange / Office 365 account to Demandbase. Demandbase uses Microsoft's Exchange Web Services to read email and calendar events.
- Domain/User: Your UPN for Microsoft Services (like Skype, Sharepoint, etc.), and it defaults to your email username.
- Password: This is the password you use to login to MS Services with.

Go to https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/, and run the test.
Step 1. Select the option below:

Once you click Perform Test, it may take a few minutes to verify.
Step 3.The test should Succeed/Pass with Warnings
Step 4. - Send/email the results to email@example.com
Once the report is completed, you should have two possible files you can save. Demandbase needs the RCATestResults.html file.
Since email and calendar data can contain sensitive information, Demandbase offers administrative controls to Blacklist users/accounts, enable/disable email body display and Auto-lock executive email.
Auto-locking allows Admins to specify the email addresses of internal users whose email communications should not display the body of the email in Communication History.
Internally at Demandbase, the Auto-lock feature is enabled for our CEO, CTO, VP of Sales, and VP of Customer Success.
