You can integrate Demandbase with Microsoft which grants Demandbase access to email and calendar activity. Demandbase combines this information with data from CRM and Marketing Automation Systems to provide a comprehensive view of account engagement.
This unified activity history gives marketing and sales teams greater visibility into interactions across account stakeholders, including email communications, meetings, and other key touchpoints.
Sync Details
The following flowchart shows how Demandbase syncs with Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 emails and calendar events:
Email Credentials
Users can connect Microsoft Email to Demandbase by granting the required access permissions. Once authenticated, Demandbase syncs up to six months of email history and calendar activity to help build a complete view of account engagement.
If you need to verify or troubleshoot your connection, see Exchange Details for your IT Team.
Security
Since email and calendar data can contain sensitive information, Demandbase provides administrative controls to exclude users and accounts, enable and disable Email body display, and Auto-lock executive email.
Auto-locking allows Admins to specify the email addresses of internal users whose email communications should not display the body of the email in Communication History.
Engagement Points
Once users authenticate their accounts with Microsoft, Demandbase starts tracking emails and calendar events and applies the activities to Engagement Points.
To see how your Engagement Points are set up, from the left navigation bar, go to Settings > Analytics > Engagement Points > General Activities.
Access Communication History
Users can access an account's Communication History from Demandbase One for Marketing and Demandbase for Sales. The Communication History is a log of all emails and meetings between your company and a target account.
To see an account's Communication History in Demandbase, select an Account, and go to Communication History.
