Understanding the Account List Dashboard and Account Dashboard

The Account List and Account Dashboards give you a starting point to access all of the rich functionality available throughout Demandbase. From these dashboards, you can view various types of engagement and activity for a selected account list or account. 

To get started, from the left navigation bar, go to Analytics2.png Analytics > Dashboard. Select an account list or account and specify a date range. To filter the Dashboard page, use the quick filters at the top of the page.

Tip: Admins customize the available quick filters from the View Management page

Account List Dashboard

The Account List Dashboard provides a snapshot of the activity and engagement for a selected account list and includes the following sections:

Quick Cards

The Quick Cards section gives you quick links to customized Analytics pages. Quick Cards help you answer questions like:

  • Who are the top qualified accounts with no sales touches?
  • Which accounts are pipeline opportunities with no sales follow up?
  • What are the top qualified accounts that are not found in your CRM?
  • Who are the newly engaged people in the last 30 days?
  • Which accounts are showing trending intent in the last 30 days?
  • What prospects are showing activity on your website in the last 30 days?

You can click on a Quick Card to open the customized page where you can take action on specific insights.

Tip: Admins customize the Quick Cards that appear in this section.

KPI Cards

The KPI Cards section includes four cards that show metrics about the accounts in the selected account list.

Total Accounts and MQA Accounts

  • Shows the total number of accounts in the Database, the number of accounts in the MQA Stage, the percentage of accounts in the MQA Stage, and whether the number is increasing or decreasing.
  • The increase or decrease is a comparison of the number of accounts in the MQA Stage at the beginning and end of the selected time period.

Existing Accounts and Net New Accounts

  • Shows the number of existing and net new accounts in the Database.
  • Existing accounts include accounts from Salesforce or CSV uploads.
  • Net new accounts are accounts from Demandbase.

Intent Keywords and Trending Keywords

  • Shows the number of intent keywords researched, the number of trending keywords, the percentage change, and whether this is increasing or decreasing over time.
  • The increase or decrease is determined by the date range selected compared to the prior 30 days.

Unique Visitors and Accounts Visited

Shows the number of unique visitors and accounts that visited your website.

Highlights

The Highlights section shows the most engaged people for the selected account list. For each person, you can see the total Engagement Minutes and completed activities.

The activities tracked include:

  • Pardot
    • Registered for Webinar
    • Attended Webinar
    • Landing Page Success
    • Form Success
  • Marketo
    • Program Success
    • Interesting Moments
    • Click Email
    • Fill Out Form
    • Visit Web Page
    • Click link
  • Eloqua
    • Form Submit
  • Salesforce
    • Campaign Member
    • Campaign Response

You can click on a person to open the Person dashboard where you can view related metrics.

Accounts

The Accounts section includes the following tabs:

  • Pipeline Predict: Shows accounts likely to open an opportunity with you in the next month.
  • Qualification Score: Shows accounts that are similar to accounts who have had open opportunities with you in the past.
  • Most Engaged: Shows accounts sorted by Engagement Minutes.

You can click on an account in any of the tabs to open the Accounts Dashboard

Intent Keywords

The Intent Keywords section shows Top Intent Keywords and Competitive Intent. For both Top Intent Keywords and Competitive Intent, you can see the keywords being researched, sorted by intent strength. You can also see if the keywords are trending.

The sparkline shows you how many accounts were searching for that keyword in the time period defined in the top right-hand corner.

Site Analytics

The Site Analytics section includes a trend chart that shows you page views and the number of new and returning accounts that visited your web page over time. You can also see the top pages visited, the number of page views, percentage change, and whether this is an increase or decrease.

Firmographics

The Firmographics section includes the Industries, Revenue, and Employees tabs. The tabs include bar charts that show the number of accounts in each industry, revenue grouping, or number of employees grouping.

Account Dashboard

The Account Dashboard provides a snapshot of the activity and engagement for the account you select and includes the following sections:

Account Details

The Account Details section shows you key information about an account. The data comes from Salesforce or from CSV/Demandbase.

You can click Take Action to perform a task with the account based on its level of engagement and activity. For example, you can add the account to an account list or a Salesforce campaign. You can also click Manage Account to see more details about this account.

Tip: Click the right arrow next to the Take Action button to show additional account information.

Quick Cards

The Quick Cards section gives you quick links to customized pages in the Analytics section.

You can click on a Quick Card to open the customized page where you can take action on specific insights.

Timeline

The Timeline section shows engagement for the account in three different views: Deal Story, Engagement, and Group. The Deal Story view highlights key activities for the account and lets you view Marketing Engagement activities, Sales Engagement activities, or both. You can also see the progression of the account through your Journey Stages.

The Engagement and Group views show Engagement for the account.
