From the Engagement Points page, you can assign Engagement Points to the activities you want to track. See Understanding Engagement Point Categories and Activity Types.

Campaigns and Programs
Demandbase imports available campaigns and programs from connected systems such as Marketo and Salesforce after they are created.
Some campaigns and programs are imported only after they record a success. For example, a newly created Salesforce campaign is not available for Engagement Point assignment until at least one campaign member reaches success.
Imported Activities
For Imported Activities, the criteria entered is interpreted as a single string.
For example, a comma-separated entry such as /abx, /ads, /sales is treated as one string, rather than as three separate values (/abx, /ads, and /sales).
As a result, if you need to enter multiple criteria, create a separate Engagement Point row for each criterion.
Important: The ability to paste multiple comma-separated criteria does not apply to Imported Activities because the entire entry is evaluated as a single string.
Operators
The following operators are available when configuring Engagement Points:

| Contains / Does Not Contain | Matches values that contain or do not contain the specified criteria. |
| Is/Is Not | Matches or excludes an exact value. |
Engagement Point Values
Enter a value in the Points field to track the interactions your target accounts have with your company. The minimum value is 0.0001.
Tip: Set the point value to 0 to exclude the activity from all engagement calculations while still displaying the activity in the Engagement table. See Use Tables in Engagement.

You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.

Assign Engagement Points
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Analytics > Engagement Points.

From the Choose Category drop-down list, select a category.
For example, select Intent Activities to set up Engagement Points for the following intent activities:- Demandbase Intent Activities: Used for Demandbase keyword intent, geo keyword intent, and trending intent.
- 3rd Party Intent: Used for third-party intent integrations such as Bombora, G2, and TrustRadius.
- In the Activity Type column, select an activity type.
- In the Operator column, select an operator.
- If you selected an operator other than Any Value, enter and select criteria in criteria column.
Tip:- As you type, Demandbase searches for and displays matching values.
- To create a new criterion, enter the value, and select Create [criteria].
- To paste multiple criteria at once, select Switch to text view and separate criteria with commas.
Important: For Imported Activities, comma-separated values are treated as a single string. See Imported Activities. - In the Points column, enter the desired point value.
- Click Save.
Add or Remove Engagement Items
- From the left navigation bar, go to Settings > Analytics > Engagement Points.
- From the Choose Category drop-down list, select a category.

- Add activity: At the bottom of the page, select an activity from the Add Trigger drop-down.
- Remove activity: Locate the activity, click the right x icon, and click Delete.
