Take Action: Change CRM Account or Person Data

The Change CRM Data actions allow you to change account or person field values in your CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or HubSpot).

Important: Take Action functionality is limited to a maximum of 100 records at a time. This limit doesn't apply when using Automations within the Orchestration solution.

Prerequisites

Change Account Data

  1. In Demandbase One for Marketing, select one or more accounts (for example, from Analytics > Accounts or Database > Accounts > Account Lists {Account List} {Account Name}).
  2. Click Take Action.
  3. In the right Take Action menu, select the CRM tab, and click the option for your CRM:
    • Salesforce: Change Account Data
    • Dynamics: Change Dynamics Account Data
    • HubSpot: HubSpot Change Account Data
  4. Complete the following drop-downs: 
    • Account Field: Account field to update (destination field).
    • New Field Value: Account field to copy from (source field).
      • Defined: Value you enter manually.
      • Token: Value copied from the source field.
        Tip: The options available depend on the Account Field you selected. 
  5. Click Confirm.

Change Person Data

  1. In Demandbase One for Marketing, select one or more people (for example, from Analytics > People or Database > People > Person Lists {Person List} {Person Name}).
  2. Click Take Action.
  3. In the right Take Action menu, select the CRM tab, and click the option for your CRM:
    • Salesforce: Change Person Data
    • Dynamics: Change Dynamics Person Data
    • HubSpot: HubSpot Change Person Data
  4. Complete the following drop-downs:
    • Lead/Contact Field: Person field to update (destination field).
    • New Field Value: Person field to copy from (source field).
      • Defined: Value you enter manually.
      • Token: Value copied from the source field.
        Tip: The options available depend on the Lead/Contact Field you selected. 
  5. Click Confirm.

Outcome

Demandbase changes the account or person field values during the next scheduled sync with your CRM.
