Upload Display Creatives

With self-serve Advertising, you can upload non-personalized static or HTML display creatives and landing page URLs directly to Demandbase One.

You can upload creatives in the following areas:

Tip: You can also upload native and video (web video and Connected TV) creatives.

Prerequisites

Make sure your creative assets and landing page information conform to the requirements in Non-Personalized Ad Specifications.

Important: If you want to use third-party tags, email adsupport@demandbase.com for assistance. Demandbase supports DoubleClick for Advertising (DFA), Flashtalking, and Sizmek third-party tags and can accept full creative tags or 1x1 tracking pixels.

Steps: Upload Static Non-Personalized Display Creatives

  1. To upload static display creatives, do one of the following:
    • From the Creative Library, click Upload Creatives.
    • From the Campaign Builder, go to Step 3: Add Ad Groups, and click Upload Creatives.
      Important: You must select Display as the campaign format in Step 1: Campaign Basics to upload display creatives.
  2. Under Display, click Creatives only.
    Tip: The Creatives only option is recommended for uploading creatives. For information about using the advanced Excel + Creatives option, see Uploading Static Display Creatives with an Excel File.
  3. In the window that opens, enter an Ad Group name for the creatives.
    Tip: By default, Demandbase places all creatives uploaded at one time in one Ad Group. You can move creatives to other Ad Groups after the upload.
  4. Drag and drop your creative files into the Browse field. You can add up to 50 creative files in a single upload.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To associate a single click URL or landing page with all creatives to be uploaded, enter the URL in the Click URL or Landing Page field. 
      Tip: Make sure you enter a secure URL that starts with https://

    • To associate different click URLs or landing pages with each creative, click Want to use a different URL for each creative? and enter the URL for each creative in the Click URL or Landing Page field.

  6. Click Submit.

Upload HTML Non-Personalized Display Creatives

  1. To upload HTML display creatives, do one of the following:
    • From the Creative Library, click Upload Creatives.
    • From the Campaign Builder, go to  Step 3: Add Ad Groups, and click Upload Creatives.
      Important: You must select Display as the campaign format in Step 1: Campaign Basics to upload display creatives.
  2. Under Display, click Creatives only.
  3. In the window that opens, enter an Ad Group name for the creatives.
    Tip: By default, Demandbase places all creatives uploaded at one time in one Ad Group. You can move creatives to other Ad Groups after the upload.
  4. Organize the HTML components for each size into separate zip files.
  5. Drag and drop each zip file individually into the Browse field of the upload window.
  6. Enter the URL in the Click URL or Landing Page field.
  7. Click Submit.

Next Steps

After the upload finishes processing, you can go to the Ad Group in the Creative Library to review the details for the creatives. You can also click the View or Download links to preview or download a tear sheet.
