Building an Advertising Campaign for Campaign Builder

  • Updated

The Campaign Builder in Demandbase Advertising enables easy setup, launch, and management of campaigns. It also helps ensure that your campaigns are properly scoped for success. You can optimize campaigns in real time to drive increased performance by adjusting creatives, landing pages, and other advertising parameters.

If your company has Advertising Campaign Strategist (ACS) support, you may also work with your ACS to create, publish, and launch an ad campaign.

Prerequisites

Steps: Create a New Campaign

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Advertising_icon_bullseye.png  Advertising and click + New Campaign.
  2. Follow the Campaign Builder as it guides you through each of the following steps:
    • Step 1: Campaign Basics: Create an ad campaign based on flight dates, account lists, intent keywords sets, ad format, geolocation, and Audience.
    • (Optional) Step 2: Journey Targeting: Select a Journey Funnel, assign Journey Stages to funnel areas, and align campaign strategy based on desired outcome.
Tip: If you prefer not to use journey targeting, you can skip this step.
    • Step 3: Add Ad Groups: Assign ad creative sets to the campaign.
    • Step 4: Media Planning: Set campaign budget, ad plan, and bid priorities.
    • Step 5: Review and Publish: Review and launch the campaign.
      Tips:
      • If you need to go back to a previous step of the Campaign Builder, click the step in the top navigation bar.
      • The navigation bar also alerts you if a previous step requires attention by highlighting it with a red exclamation point. Hover over the exclamation point to see error details.
