The Demandbase One for Sales Engagement tab provides comprehensive information about your target company’s engagement activity.
Filter Account Engagement Data
Use the date range and saved filters at the top of the Engagement tab to refine the data shown.
The default settings depend on how you access the account:
- Demandbase One for Sales Homepage: The date range and filters inherit the settings selected on the Homepage.
- Global Search: The date range and filters default to the settings in your assigned user view.
Select an Engagement Date Range
The date range determines the period included in the account engagement data.
To change the date range:
- Click a start or end date.
- Select dates from the calendar or select a predefined range under Quick Picks.
Apply a Saved Filter to Engagement Data
The Select Filter drop-down list includes saved Activity and People filters. Demandbase applies the default saved filter configured in your assigned user view.
Important:
- Saved filters don’t apply to Site Visit Intelligence, Intent, or Communication History.
- If the default saved filter in your user view is an Account filter, Demandbase doesn’t apply it to the Engagement tab.
Timeline
The Timeline section shows account engagement during the selected date range. Select Deal Story or Engagement to change the timeline view.
Hover over a chart to see the total Engagement Points and top activities for a specific date.
Deal Story Tab
The Deal Story tab shows key account activities and engagement trends. Select Marketing Engagement, Sales Engagement, or both to control the trend lines shown.
Hover over an activity to see details such as the person who engaged and the engagement date.
The blue bar chart below the trend lines shows the account’s progression through your Journey Stages. Hover over a stage to see how long the account remained in that stage.
Engagement Tab
The Engagement tab shows the account’s Engagement Points by activity in a trend line chart.
Select Day, Week, or Month to change the chart interval. Select Auto to let Demandbase determine the interval based on the selected date range.
Filter the Engagement Chart by Activity
The engagement chart includes all top activities by default. Under Top activities by engagement points, select an activity to show its total Engagement Points in the chart.
Group Engagement Points by a Demandbase Field
Group Engagement Points by a Demandbase field to compare engagement across values such as department, role, or location.
- Click the
Group By icon.
- From the Display top, categorized by drop-down list, select a Demandbase field.
Important: Grouping the chart by a field disables the top activities button. Select All Activities from the drop-down list to enable it again.
Site Analytics
The Site Analytics section uses Site Visit Intelligence to show website activity from the account during the selected date range.
You can review:
- Page views and unique visitors
- Top known visitors
- Top visitor locations
- Pages viewed
Intent
The Intent section shows the account’s Intent Keyword Sets, individual Keywords, and Bombora Intent when available.
Keyword Sets Tab
The Keyword Sets tab shows:
- Top keyword sets
- Top keywords within each set
- Engagement Points
- Top intent locations
- Recommended People
Select All Intent or Competitive Intent to control the intent shown. You can also select a keyword set from the drop-down list to filter the results.
View and Take Action with Recommended People
The Recommended People column identifies people associated with intent for a keyword set.
- In the Recommended People column, click View.
- Review each person’s name, Person Intent Score, and Engagement Points.
The source icon next to each name identifies where the person record originated, such as Salesforce or Demandbase.
To take action with one or more people, select the checkbox next to each person and select an action.
Keywords Tab
The Keywords tab shows:
- Top keywords
- Keyword sets containing each keyword
- Intent strength
- Top intent location
Select All Intent or Competitive Intent to control the intent shown. You can also select a keyword set from the drop-down list to filter the keywords.
Bombora Intent Tab
The Bombora Intent tab shows intent data collected through Bombora’s cooperative network of B2B media companies.
Important: Bombora Intent is available only if your organization is a customer of both Bombora and Demandbase.
Highlights
The Highlights section identifies the account’s most engaged people based on factors such as their roles and completed activities.
For each person, you can review:
- Name
- Engagement Points
- Job title
- Completed activities
Click a person’s name to open their Person dashboard in Demandbase One for Marketing. Click the account name next to the job title to open the account details.
If a Salesforce record is available, hover over the person’s tile and click the Salesforce icon to open the record in Salesforce.
Activities
The Activities section shows activities from the account’s most engaged people.
You can:
- Search for an activity.
- Apply a filter to refine the activities shown.
- Click Export to download the activities as a CSV file.
- Click Edit Columns to customize the table.
When editing columns, you can:
- Add or remove columns.
- Rearrange the column order.
- Freeze columns so they remain visible while you scroll horizontally.
- Reset the table to the default columns.
Heatmap
The Heatmap section groups Engagement Points by the database fields selected in the Rows and Columns drop-down lists.
Select Preset or Custom fields and use Max Rows to control the number of rows shown.
Click a heatmap cell to see details for the selected row and column values. Selecting a cell also filters the Activities table based on those values.
Click a cell to view specific information about the row and cell. Selecting a cell updates the Activities table based on the information in the selected cell.
Communication History
The Communication History section section shows emails and meetings between your organization and the account.
You can:
- Search for a communication.
- Click the filter icon and select Emails or Meetings.
- Click an email row to view the full email.
- Click the three dots for an email thread or meeting to lock or delete it.
