The AI Insights section summarizes a person’s recent activity and powers the Email Agent, enabling reps to quickly understand their Audience and create more precise, personalized outreach.
Email Agent is an AI-powered content creation tool in Demandbase One for Sales that helps SDRs, BDRs, and AEs quickly craft personalized, relevant sales emails. By analyzing real-time account and contact engagement data (intent signals, page visits, campaign responses, and CRM activity), the Email Agent generates contextual email drafts aligned to specific products and preferred communication tones.
Embedded directly within People records, it enables reps to create, copy, and open emails in their email client without leaving their workflow, saving time while improving personalization and engagement.
AI Insights Overview
The AI Insights section includes a summary of:
- Recent high-value activity: For example, page visits, campaign responses, and form fills.
- Account context: What the person does within their organization.
- Buying group role: The potential role they play in the buying group.
This view helps reps quickly understand and prioritize their outreach.
Email Agent Sections
The following sections are available in the Email Agent:

| Select Product | Product that is the focus of the email. |
AI-generated based on the domain associated with the tenant. Products are defined at the tenant level, so all users within the tenant see the same list. Important: Product options in the drop-down cannot be edited. |

| Topics | AI-generated insights based on engagement data to help inform and personalize the email content. | Select the insights to use when generating the email draft. |
| Other Instructions |
Optional free-form field that allows users to customize the AI prompt. For example, personal notes, template references, or gift mentions.

Once the user provides instructions, they are saved and automatically pre-populated for future email drafts. |
| Thumbs up/down | Feedback mechanism that allows users to indicate their satisfaction with the email draft. | Helps improve Email Agent results. |
| Open in Email | Opens an email draft (Gmail, Outlook, or user’s default email client) pre-populated with the subject and body. | Emails are sent using the selected email client. |
| Copy Email | Copies the entire email draft (subject + body) to the clipboard. | Emails are sent using the selected email client. |
Prerequisites
You must have the Demandbase One for Marketing and Demandbase One for Sales licenses.
Steps
- Log in to https://web.demandbase.com/sales.
- Select or go to a Person record.
- Under AI Insights, click Draft a personalized email.

Select the desired option in the following sections:
- Select Product
- Select Tone
- Topics
- (Optional) Other instructions

Review the email draft and make edits if necessary.
Tip: To change your selections, edit the options, and click Regenerate. - (Optional) Next to Was this helpful?, click Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down to help improve results.

Select from the following options:
- To open the email draft in an email client, click Open in, and select an email client (Default Email, Gmail, or Outlook).
- To copy the email draft, click Copy All, then paste it in an email.
- In your email client, review/edit the draft, and send the email.
