Set Up Salesforce Lite with Optional Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) Integration

  • Updated

Context

Integrate Demandbase with Salesforce Lite to only sync Salesforce data into Demandbase, without write-back capabilities.

Differences between the standard and Lite integrations are:

  • Does not require an SFDC Admin account.
Tip: The Lite integration connects to your Salesforce instance through a dedicated Salesforce user profile.
  • Does not require the Demandbase App Package.
  • Is read-only (no write-back support such as Demandbase Calculated Fields and other write-back Actions).

Similarities between the standard and Lite integrations are:

As with the standard integration, the Lite integration supports the optional Pardot (also referred to as Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) integration. See Integrate Pardot and Demandbase.

You can also upgrade from Salesforce Lite to the standard integration. See Upgrade from Salesforce Lite to Standard Integration.
