Context
You can reset the password for your Demandbase users. Resetting a password ensures the security and continued access to Demandbase, protecting personal or sensitive information.
Prerequisites/Preparation
You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.
User must first be created in Demandbase and respond to the activation email within seven days. See Create and Manage Users.
Steps
- From the left navigation bar, go to Settings > User Management > Users.
- Search for the user's name, ID, or email address.

Hover over the user and click settings icon > Reset password.
- (Optional) To reset passwords for multiple users, select the checkboxes next to the users. Click Take Action > Reset Password.
Outcome
The user receives an email with a unique link to reset their password and must respond within 1 hour. If the user does not receive the reset password email, ask them to check their Spam and Junk folders.
Password requirements:
- Must be at least 8 characters in length.
- Must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
- Symbols are allowed.
- Cannot contain any part of the user's name.
- Cannot be the same as your previous 20 passwords
- At least 2 days since last password change.
