The Engagement tables in Analytics show detailed engagement data for the following objects. The tables show data from your CRM, Marketing Automation System (MAS), CSV imports, and Demandbase.
- Accounts
- People
- Activities
- Custom
You can adjust and sort columns, export data, take action, and see graphs directly from the tables.
Prerequisites
You must assign Engagement Points to activities. See Set Up Engagement Points for Activities.
Apply Engagement Filters
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Analytics > Engagement.
- Select an account or account list.
- Select a date range.

Use top saved filters or quick filters to filter the table.
Tip: You can also use the heatmap to filter the data in the tables. See Filter Tables with Heatmaps.
Use the Engagement Tables
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Analytics > Engagement.
- Scroll down to the table and click the Accounts, People, Activities, or Custom tab.
- In the table, you can do the following:
- To sort the table by the information in a specific column, click the column header.

To search the table, click the
search icon and enter a search term.
Important:- Searches return full and partial text matches.
- Search is not available for the Custom table.
- To export the table to a CSV file, click Export.

To change the columns in the table, do the following:

Click Edit Columns at the bottom of the table.
- To add a column, use the Select drop-down list and select columns to display.
- To remove a column, click the minus icon.
- To “freeze” a column, click the lock icon. This forces the table to display the column on the left side, regardless of scrolling actions.
- To rearrange the order of columns, click on a column and drag it to the new location.
- To restore default columns, click Default. This removes all non-default fields from the table.
- Click Apply.

Click Edit Columns at the bottom of the table.
Take Action from the Engagement Tables
When you find accounts or people you want to follow up with, you can directly take action from a table. See Understanding Take Action.
Important: Take Action is only available for the Accounts and People tables.
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Analytics > Engagement.
- Scroll down to the table and click the Accounts or People tab.
- Select the checkboxes next to the records you want to take action with.
- Click Take Action and complete the action.
Delete Demandbase Activities from the Engagement Tables
You can permanently delete Demandbase activities from the database using the delete activity function.
Important:
- The delete activity functionality is only available for the Activities table.

You can only delete the following Demandbase-sourced activities:
- Added to List
- Change in Journey Stage
- Demandbase Geo Keyword Intent
- Demandbase Keyword Intent
- Member of Automation
- Page Visits (Anonymous)
- Removed from List
- Trending Intent
- If you delete activities from your CRM and MAS, they are re-added after the nightly sync process. To delete these activities permanently, you must delete them from your CRM and MAS.
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Analytics > Engagement.
- Scroll down to the table and click the Activities tab.

Select the checkboxes next to the activities you want to delete.
Tip: Add the Source column to identify Demandbase sourced activities. Demandbase activities are listed as Demandbase. - Click Delete.
- Select the confirmation checkbox and click Delete.
Use the Table Visualizer
The table visualizer provides a graphical representation of the data in the table.
Important: The table visualizer is only available for the Accounts and People tables.
- From the left navigation bar, go to
Analytics > Engagement.
- Scroll down to the table and click the Accounts or People tab.
- Click top right Visualize.

In the Visualizer, you can do the following:
- To see the top and bottom performing accounts or people, click Top 5 and select a ranking option.

To change the metric type, click Engagement and select an engagement option.
Important: The options available differ for each table and chart type. - To change the graph format, click Line Chart and select Line Chart or Bar Chart.
- To change the time period, click Auto, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- To return to the table, click Close.
Filter Accounts by Source
You can filter the table to see accounts based on source of data.
Important: The Accounts from All Sources filter is only available for the Accounts table.
- Click the Accounts tab.
- Click the Accounts from All Sources drop-down list.

Select the account type you want to see.
- Accounts from All Sources: Accounts surfaced by Demandbase and CRM, MAS, and CSV imports.
- CRM, MAS, or CSV Sourced Accounts: Accounts from your CRM, MAS, and CSV imports.
- Demandbase Discovered Accounts: Accounts surfaced by Demandbase. These accounts are not in your CRM, MAS, or CSV. See Net New Accounts.
