Important: This article is for users with both Demandbase One for Marketing and Demandbase One for Sales (DBS) licenses. Users with a DBS-only license should refer to Export Demandbase One for Sales Account and People Data to Your CRM.
The Take Action: Export Salesforce Records feature lets you create new records or update existing records in your Salesforce using data from Demandbase One for Sales.
You can export Accounts, Contacts, and Leads from the Demandbase One for Sales platform, Browser Extension, and Salesforce iFrame.
Important: You can only export and update up to 100 records at a time.
Prerequisites
- You must have a license for both DBM and DBS.
- You must integrate Demandbase with Salesforce.
- You must select the Salesforce integration user-level. See Configure Individual User Salesforce Integration.
- You must map Demandbase fields to Salesforce fields. See Manage Demandbase One for Marketing Field Mapping to Salesforce.
Export Records to Salesforce
- In Demandbase One for Sales, select an Account or Person record(s).
- Click Take Action > Export Salesforce Record.
Tip: People records can be exported as Contact or Lead. - (Optional) If the individual-user integration is enabled, log in to Salesforce. In the allow access message box, click Allow.
- Go to the right panel and select the records you want to export or update.
- (Optional) The change the matched record, next to the record, click Edit, and select from the following options:
- Select an existing record.
- Search for an existing record: Select Other, enter record name, and select the record.
- Create a new record: Select Create new [object].
- Click Finish.
Tip: Unmatched records create new records in your Salesforce, while matched records update existing records. - Review the export status and click Close.
