Understanding Advanced Reporting for Advertising

Advanced Reporting for Advertising provides self-service reports that help digital marketers understand ad campaign performance and optimize strategies in real-time. These reports reduce the time and effort required to build campaign performance reports while delivering actionable insights.

Advanced Reporting includes the following reports:

Tip: Existing advertising dashboards remain available. Advanced Reporting expands capabilities with additional insights.

Country-Level Reporting

Country-Level reporting shows where your advertising spend is generating the most engagement.

This report allows you to:

  • View impressions and performance by country
  • Identify geographic regions where campaigns perform best
  • Drill down to state-level reporting within the United States

Example Use Case

If the report shows that the United States generates the highest number of impressions while another country generates fewer, you can quickly see where campaigns are achieving the greatest reach and impact and adjust targeting if needed.

Creative Performance

Creative Performance helps you evaluate how your ad creatives perform across campaigns.

This report allows you to analyze performance at two levels:

  • Ad Group Level: Compare performance across different ad groups
  • Creative Level: See performance for individual creatives within an ad group

Example Use Case

This allows marketers to:

  • Identify the highest-performing creatives
  • Optimize campaigns by prioritizing successful ads
  • Pause or replace underperforming creatives

JourneyIQ Reporting

JourneyIQ reporting connects advertising activity with account progression through the buying journey.

This report allows you to:

  • Analyze impression distribution across Journey Stages
  • See the role advertising plays in accelerating account progression

Example Use Case

Marketing teams can demonstrate advertising ROI by showing how campaigns contribute to:

  • Faster account progression
  • Pipeline acceleration
  • Revenue impact

Pacing and Account Performance

Pacing and Account Performance helps ensure campaigns meet delivery and performance goals.

This report allows you to:

  • Monitor campaign pacing
  • Identify campaigns that are under-pacing

Example Use Case

If a campaign is under-pacing, you can adjust:

  • Budget allocation
  • Audience targeting
  • Campaign reach

Prerequisites

You must have a license for Demandbase Advertising.

Access Advanced Reporting

From the left navigation bar, go to Advertising > Advanced Reporting, and click Get started or a report tile.

Advanced Reporting Page Features

The following features are available for all Advanced Reporting pages:

  • Top Filters
    Important: You must reload the page when you apply or edit top filters.
  • Reset filters
  • Download
    • PDF: Export page as a PDF. You can also adjust the following;
      • Paper size
      • Expand tables to show all rows
      • Arrange dashboard tiles in a single column
    • PDF > Open in Browser: Open page in a new browser window.
    • CSV: Zip file of data

Troubleshooting

You may see a “Your session has been interrupted” error message when accessing Advanced Reporting. We recommend you configure your browser to allow third-party cookies. See Configure Web Browser Settings.
