Take Action: Manage People in CRM Campaigns and Lists

The CRM Campaign and Lists actions allow you to take following actions with people in your CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot CRM:

  • Add to Campaign or List
  • Remove from Campaign or List
  • Change Status in Campaign (Salesforce and Dynamics only)

Important: Take Action functionality is limited to a maximum of 100 records at a time. This limit doesn't apply when using Automations within the Orchestration solution.

Prerequisites

  • You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set that provides access to Take Action.
  • Demandbase must be integrated with one of the following CRMs.:
  • You must have active campaigns or lists in your CRM.

Add People to CRM Campaigns or Lists

  1. Select people to add to a campaign or list and click Take Action.
  2. In the right Take Action menu, select the CRM tab, and click the option for your CRM.
    • Salesforce: Add to Salesforce Campaign
    • Dynamics: Add to Dynamics Campaign
    • HubSpot: Add Contacts to List
  3. In the Add to Campaign panel, complete the following drop-downs:
    • Campaign or List: Campaign or list to add people to.
    • Member Status: Status to assign people added to the campaign. 
      Tip: This option is only available for Salesforce and Dynamics.
  4. Click Confirm.

Remove People from CRM Campaigns or Lists

  1. Select people to remove from a campaign or list and click Take Action.
  2. In the right Take Action menu, select the CRM tab, and click the option for your CRM.
    • Salesforce: Remove from Salesforce Campaign
    • Dynamics: Remove from Dynamics Campaign
    • HubSpot: Remove Contacts from List
  3. In the Remove from Campaign drop-down, select the campaign or list you want to remove people from.  
  4. Click Confirm.

Change Status for People in CRM Campaigns or Lists

  1. Select people to change statuses for and click Take Action.
  2. In the right Take Action menu, select the CRM tab, and click the option for your CRM.
    • Salesforce: Change Status in Salesforce Campaign
    • Dynamics: Change Status in Dynamics Campaign
    • HubSpot: Change HubSpot Status
  3. In the Change Status panel, complete the following drop-downs:
    • Campaign or List: Campaign or list with the people whose statuses you want to change.
    • Member Status: New status to assign people.
      Tip: This option is only available for Salesforce and Dynamics.
  4. Click Confirm.
