Take Action: Create CRM Tasks

Context

The Create Task actions allows you to create tasks in your Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot CRM directly from Demandbase.

Important: Salesforce, Dynamics, and HubSpot prevents actions from being taken on more than 100 accounts or people at a time. The limit only applies to the Take Action functionality. If you have the Orchestration solution, you can use Automations without this limitation.

Prerequisites/Preparation

You have set up one of the following CRM integrations:

Steps

  1. Select accounts or people to create tasks for and click Take Action.
  2. In the right Take Action menu, select the CRM tab and click the option for your CRM.
    • Salesforce: Create Salesforce Task
    • Dynamics: Create Task in Dynamics
    • HubSpot: Create Task in HubSpot CRM

      The following example shows the CRM tab for Salesforce actions.

  3. Enter a Subject or click +{{ Token }} to use a token in your subject line to help define the subject. Tokens allow you to write the value from one field to another.
  4. From the Assignee drop-down list, select a CRM user to assign the task to.
  5. In the Due in Day(s) field, enter the number of days the assignee has to complete the task.
  6. Enter a Comment or click +{{ Token }} to use a token in your subject line to help define the subject.
  7. Click Confirm.
