From the Account Journey Builder, you can edit and publish changes to Journey Stages.
You can edit Journey Stages using the following options:
Important:
- Editing Journey Stages can impact Journey Analytics and other Demandbase functionality. You should consider the ramifications of editing Journey Stages if the Journey Funnel is already up-and-running.
- Once you update Journey Stages, you may also need to update the Marketing Qualified Account (MQA), Pipeline, or Customer designated stages. See Designate Stages in Journey Builder.
Prerequisites
- You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.

Update an Existing Journey Stage
Important: You can't edit the selector logic for the All Other stage.

From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Journey > Account Journey Builder.
- Hover over Global Journey, click the gear icon that appears, and click Edit Journey.
- Click the name of the Journey Stage to edit.
- In the Selector tab, update the selector criteria that defines the stage. See Working with Selectors.

Click Queue.
Important: Changes are not saved if you leave the page without queueing. - (Optional) Click the Details tab to update the Stage name, Description fields, and show or hide the stage in the Journeys dashboard in Analytics.
- (Optional) Click the Accounts tab to see an updated list of accounts that qualify for the stage.
- Click Back to List.
- Click Publish.
- Enter the number of records impacted and click Publish.
Add a Journey Stage

From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Journey > Account Journey Builder.
- Hover over Global Journey, click the gear icon that appears, and click Edit Journey.

Click Add New Stage. In the New Journey Stage window, enter the following:
- Name: Enter a name for the stage.
- Description: Enter a description of the stage.
- Order: Select the stage’s order in the account journey.
- Display in Analytics: Toggle on to show the stage in the Journeys Summary page.
- Click Create.
- In the Selector tab, update the selector criteria that defines the stage. See Working with Selectors.

Click Queue.
Important: Changes are not saved if you leave the page without queueing. - Click Back to List.
- Click Publish.
- Enter the number of records impacted and click Publish.
Reorder Journey Stages

From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Journey > Account Journey Builder.
- Hover over Global Journey, click the gear icon that appears, and click Edit Journey.
- Click Reorder.
- Drag and drop the Journey Stages to desired positions.
- Click Reorder.
- Click Publish.
- Enter the number of records impacted and click Publish.
Delete a Journey Stage

From the left navigation bar, go to
Settings > Journey > Account Journey Builder.
- Hover over Global Journey, click the gear icon that appears, and click Edit Journey.
- Click the name of the Journey Stage to delete.
- Click the top right three dots and click Delete Stage.
- Click Delete.
- Click Publish.
- Enter the number of records impacted and click Publish.
Outcome
Journey Stage changes queued before 6:00 pm PST are reflected in the evaluation that completes by 6:00 am PST the next day.
