Understanding the Site Customization Dashboards

  • Updated

Site Customization dashboards provide near-real-time reporting for Site Customization audiences built from existing account lists. You can view performance across all experiences or review metrics for an individual experience.

Benefits of the Site Customization Dashboards

Site Customization dashboards help you:

  • Measure the impact of personalized content using engagement metrics.
  • Compare performance across experiences on the main dashboard.
  • Identify which calls to action (CTAs) and other modifications drive the most engagement.

Important:

  • Dashboard data typically appears within 30 minutes of an event.
  • Use a static account list to report on all targeted accounts. With a dynamic account list, reporting includes only accounts currently in the list.
  • You can enable click tracking for any number of elements. Demandbase records only the first click on each tracked element during a visitor session.

Enable Site Customization Dashboard Reporting

Build the Site Customization audience from an existing account list to enable dashboard reporting. Dashboards are not available for audiences created with selectors.

View Performance Across Experiences

The main Site Customization dashboard shows performance metrics and a table of all Site Customization experiences.

Filter the Main Site Customization Dashboard

You can filter the main Site Customization dashboard by:

  • Experience state
  • Priority
  • Created by
  • Date range
  • View data by domain or account

Performance Tracking Chart

The Performance Tracking chart shows the percentage and total number of targeted domains or accounts across all experiences.

Demandbase counts views and clicks by unique company ID or domain. Activity is combined for accounts that share the same parent company and domain.

The chart includes the following metrics:

  • Current Audience: Total number of targeted accounts.
  • Viewed: Number of accounts or domains that viewed an experience during the selected date range.
  • Clicked: Number of accounts or domains that clicked a tracked customization.

Custom Experiences Table

The Custom Experiences table includes the following information for each experience:

  • Experience Name
Tip: Displays an error icon next to the experience name when some or all elements in the experience do not render. Open the experience to view error details. The experience creator also receives an email when Demandbase first detects an error.
  • State
  • Priority
  • Location Type
  • Total Modifications
  • Clicks
  • Start Date
  • Last Edited Date

From the table, you can:

View Performance for an Individual Experience

The individual experience dashboard provides detailed reporting for a specific Site Customization experience. It includes experience metrics and a table of targeted domains or accounts.

Experience metrics show engagement with tracked buttons, links, headlines, and other customizations.

To track an element, enable Track Clicks in Experience Builder. See Customize Web Pages.
Important: When you enable click tracking, Demandbase automatically assigns a tag based on the element type and text. You can rename the tag or create a custom tag to identify the modification in dashboard reports.

Filter the Dashboard for an Individual Experience

Use the date-range filter and select whether to view data by domain or account.

Experience Metrics

The Experience Metrics section includes the following tabs:

Targeted

The Targeted tab shows the number of domains or accounts targeted by the experience. The bar chart shows how the audience progresses from targeting to views and clicks.

Viewed

The Viewed tab shows the total number of experience views by day for the selected date range.

Clicked

The Clicked tab shows the number of clicks for each tag. Use this information to identify which customizations visitors interacted with.

Important: Clicks on customizations without tags appear as Untagged.

Domains and Accounts Table

The Domains and Accounts table shows information for domains or accounts targeted by the experience.

For domains, the table shows:

  • Views
  • Clicks
  • Account count

Tip: Click the expand arrow next to the domain to see all related accounts.

For accounts, the table shows:

  • Account name
  • Number of employees
  • Industry
  • State
  • Views
  • Clicks
