If a user exceeds the maximum number of failed login attempts, their Demandbase account is temporarily locked for 30 minutes.
If needed, the account can be unlocked immediately without waiting for the lockout period to expire. After the account is unlocked, the user can sign in with their existing password; a password reset is not required.
Important: This article is only applicable for users who log in via the Demandbase Authentication method.
Prerequisites
User must first be created in Demandbase and respond to the activation email within seven days. See Create and Manage Users.
Steps
- Go to the login page at https://web.demandbase.com.
- Click Need help signing in? and click Unlock account?
- Enter your email address and click Send Email.
Outcome
Users receive an email containing a unique account unlock link, which must be used within 1 day. If the email is not received, check the Spam or Junk folder.
- In the email from Demandbase, click Unlock Account.
- Click Back to sign in.
- Enter your login credentials and click Sign In.
