Field Ingestion Control for Marketo allows you to control the Marketo People (Leads and Contacts) fields you want to sync into Demandbase. You can select fields and focus only on the ones that matter to you. This helps streamline data by reducing the number of synced fields.
As part of regular maintenance, you can also bulk remove unused Marketo fields that Demandbase has flagged as being inactive. This helps keep your setup clean and improves overall platform performance.
A field is considered unused if, at the time of analysis, it is:
- Not used in any Demandbase asset.
- Not included in any saved view.
- Not referenced by any active API.
Important:
- You can only control People fields.
- You can add or remove fields at any time. Changes are applied retroactively and take effect within 24 hours.
Prerequisites
- You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.
- The Marketo field must be visible to the Demandbase-Marketo integration user.
