Deploy Demandbase One Tag

  • Updated

To get started with Demandbase, you must first deploy a Demandbase Tag on your company’s web pages.

What is a Demandbase Tag?

The Demandbase Tag is a small JavaScript snippet added to each page of your company’s website. It captures the visitor’s IP address and cookie data, then sends this information to our identification API to determine the visitor’s company. This allows us to measure their interest in your business.

The tag asynchronously loads a cloud-hosted JavaScript file tailored to your specific modules and configuration. Managed by the Demandbase team, this file is optimized for fast download and execution. It is secure and automatically loads over SSL when required.

Distribution Policy

The Demandbase Tag may only be installed on the domain(s) licensed in your agreement with Demandbase. While the tag can be deployed across multiple websites, your contract may limit the number of domains covered. Contact your Demandbase CSM to confirm that your license includes any additional websites before adding the tag.

The Tag snippet may not be copied into an email or distributed in any method that may modify the syntax, including unforeseen modifications due to character encoding or accidental edits. Any such distribution is at the customer's own discretion and claims full responsibility of erroneous installations as a result. By deploying the Demandbase Tag to your website, you agree that your organization is bound by the terms of the Demandbase End User License Agreement.
