New Features:
Buying Groups for Sales - Assign, Confirm, and Dismiss Contact Recommendations (Available October 1)
Previously, you could see multiple buying group recommendations but couldn't edit or assign new contacts to a buying group. Now, you can confirm both the buying role and buying group, assign contacts directly, or dismiss recommendations as needed. Sales teams also have the ability to review and restore previously dismissed contacts and filter by confirmed records. This update provides increased flexibility and control over buying groups, enabling sellers to make more informed decisions, quickly adjust their strategies, and enhance the likelihood of engaging the right people at the right time.

Buying Groups for Sales - Summary on the Account Tab (Available October 1)
Previously, you had no visibility into which buying group to prioritize or how they were performing. Now, you can see which buying group should be targeted first based on engagement metrics, including intent keywords and site activity. The new feature provides insights into the percentage of configured buying group personas that have been confirmed, the engagement levels among these confirmed members, and the number of additional recommendations available to you. This update helps verify if all members of a buying group have been covered and ensures you’re focusing on the most engaged contacts, defined as those with engagement minutes greater than zero in the last three months.
For more information, see Understanding Top Buying Groups.
Take Action in Third-Party Channels (Available October 1)
Previously, sellers had to navigate to the ABX platform to send contacts to their sales engagement tools, and the Take Action feature only worked for known contacts, limiting functionality to exporting contacts to CRM. Now, you can take action on both known and new contacts directly from Demandbase One for Sales, eliminating the need to switch to external platforms like ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. You can seamlessly send contacts to engagement tools based on recommendations from the Prescriptive Sales Dashboards, the Top People section of the Account tab, and the People tab. This update streamlines your workflow, making it easier to manage and act on contacts without leaving Demandbase One for Sales.

View Management Update - Default Journey
With the release of multiple journeys in May, we are now supporting the ability to define a default journey within the view management section, under Settings. Prior to this release, only the Global Journey was available as the default journey. With this release, Admins can select different default journeys for different views. This allows customers to make better, informed decisions on their target accounts. Customers can view and analyze data on account performance relevant to a journey funnel they care about by setting their default journey to one that is more relevant to their role or workspace.

Segments Update
We are improving the usability and location of segments in the platform. For those unfamiliar, a segment is a group of accounts, people, opportunities, or activities that share common characteristics. Segments represent your target markets and are essential for tailoring your products or services.
With this update, we are introducing a self-service guide to help better explain how to set up segments in the platform. With this change, segments will move into the Database section and out of Settings to make it easier to find and to consolidate all database assets on one page.
Segments are only visible and available for Admins in the platform.
For more information, see Create and Manage Segments.
Ad Plans Summary Page
Customers can now view and manage all of their ad plans in one place. The Ad Plans Summary page gives customers improved visibility into advertising budgets, allowing them to quickly understand what budget has been spent, what budget is remaining, and which campaigns are running under a specific ad plan.
For more information, see Understanding the Ad Plan Summary.
Product Changes:
Customizability in Prescriptive Sales Dashboards - Public Lists and Advanced Filters (Available October 1)
You now have enhanced access to comprehensive lists and can access all public account lists directly from the dashboards, improving team and manager visibility. The new advanced filter panel allows for filtering the dashboards by Journey Stages and your saved filters. Additionally, recent contact activities are now displayed in the dashboard, providing a fuller picture of account interactions. This update offers better visibility and accessibility to a broader range of accounts, makes filter navigation more intuitive and efficient, and provides deeper context on why specific contacts were recommended.
Improved Platform Infrastructure
We’ve upgraded the Demandbase One platform infrastructure to perform better for customers, especially for longer running queries. No product functionality has been changed.
AI-Powered Intent Keyword Suggestions
We’ve drastically improved the return rate and quality of intent keyword suggestion tools (Suggest from List, Suggest from URL) by using AI. Demandbase searches across our keyword vocabulary for relevant keywords to the existing keywords in the keyword set or related to the URLs provided which are crawled in real time.
