Step 1: Install Demandbase App Package in Salesforce

Installing the Demandbase app package from the Salesforce AppExchange is the first step in integrating Demandbase with Salesforce. The package adds Demandbase custom fields, an iFrame, and a Salesforce dashboard with Sales Insights reports.

Prerequisites to Install Demandbase App Package in Salesforce

You must have Admin privileges within your Salesforce environment.
If installing in a Salesforce Sandbox, you must also have a Demandbase Sandbox environment. Reach out to your Demandbase Account Team for assistance.
You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required Demandbase settings access.

Install Demandbase App Package in Salesforce

Download the Demandbase app package from the Salesforce AppExchange.
Select the Salesforce environment where you want to install the package:
- Production: Click Get It Now.
  Important: There is no charge to install the package.
- Sandbox: Click Try it.
Log in to Salesforce with Trailblazer.me.
Tip: We highly recommend you use a dedicated sync user profile.
Install the app package in production or sandbox environment.
- Production: Click Install in Production.
- Sandbox: Select Try in your Sandbox, enter your information, and click Continue to Installation.
  Important: Only connect a Salesforce Sandbox to a Demandbase Sandbox.
Check the Terms and Conditions box and click Confirm and Install.
Select Install for All Users and click Install.
Important:
- Installing the app for Admins only requires the addition of component and class permissions for non-admins to view charts.
- Publisher is Engagio.
You can see the Installing and granting all access to all Users... message.
When you see the Installation Complete message, click Done.
