Manage Demandbase One for Marketing Field Mapping to Salesforce

From Demandbase One for Sales, you can create new Account, Contact, and Lead records in your Salesforce CRM. See Export Salesforce Records in Demandbase One for Sales.

To ensure Demandbase One for Sales data syncs to the correct Salesforce fields, manage the field mappings in Demandbase One for Marketing.

Prerequisites for Managing Demandbase Field Mappings to Salesforce

• You must have Admin privileges in Salesforce.
• You must have Admin privileges in Demandbase.
• Integration user must have Create and Edit permissions in Salesforce.
• The Salesforce fields you want to map must be visible to the Demandbase-Salesforce integration user.

Manage Demandbase One for Marketing Field Mapping to Salesforce

1. Complete Step 1: Authenticate, Step 2: Permissions, Step 3: Field Selection, and Step 4: Account Filters in Step 3: Add Salesforce Integration in Demandbase One.
2. In the Salesforce Setup Wizard, go to Step 5: Field Mappings tab.
3. Click the tab for the object you want to map to your CRM. 
4. Find the Demandbase field you want to map.
5. In the Salesforce Field column, click the drop-down. 
6. Search for and select the Salesforce field you want to map to the Demandbase field.
   Tip: You can map Demandbase fields to standard or custom Salesforce fields.
7. (Optional) To remove a field mapping, hover over the field, and click the trash icon.
8. (Optional) To add another field mapping, click Add additional fields, and repeat steps 4-6.
9. From the top right Export Rule drop-down, select the export rule you want to apply to all fields. You can override the export rule for individual fields by selecting a different rule in that field's row.
   • Update, if blank: Demandbase sends data to HubSpot only when the mapped Salesforce field is blank.
   • Overwrite: Demandbase sends data to Salesforce and overwrites any existing value in the mapped Salesforce field.
10. Click Save.
