Integrate Google with Demandbase

  • Updated

Context

The Google integration allows you to add Google as a Destination for your Orchestration Audiences. After you set up the integration, you can create person-based Audiences to use with Google.

Using the integration, you can make uploads to your Google ad account and leverage the custom audiences for Gmail, Google Search, YouTube, and Google Display Audiences.

Prerequisites/Preparation

Important: Before you set up the Demandbase Google integration, you must link the LiveRamp CMU account to your Google Ads account. This does not require you to have an agreement with LiveRamp or an account/login for LiveRamp. See the LiveRamp documentation for instructions.

You must have Admin privileges in Demandbase.

To use people-based Audiences, you must have Demandbase integrated with a CRM or a Marketing Automation System.

Steps

  1. In Google Ads, link the LiveRamp CMU account to your Google Ads account. For more information, see the LiveRamp documentation.
  2. In Demandbase, from the left navigation bar, go to Settings_N.png Settings > Integrated Systems > Integration.
  3. Click Create Data Source and select Google.
  4. Enter the following:
    • Connection name: Enter a name for the integration. The name appears in Demandbase and can help you distinguish between multiple integrations for the same source.
Important: Enter a Connection name with no spaces. For example, enter Connection_name.
    • Google Account ID: Enter the MCC or CID without hyphens.

You can now add Google as a Destination for your Audiences.
