On the Engagement page in Analytics, the Engagement Minute Trend chart shows Engagement Minutes by activity over a specific date range. You can view total Engagement Minutes for all activities or for a selected activity. This allows you to see which activities are driving the most engagement and helps you plan and optimize your future campaigns.
You can also view Engagement Minutes grouped by relevant Demandbase fields to gain additional insights.
Important: To see engagement data in the chart, activities must have a score assigned in Engagement Minute settings. See Set Up Engagement Minutes for Activities for more information.
To access the chart, go to Analytics > Engagement from the left navigation bar and select an account list.
From the chart, you can:
- Use the date range selectors to change the date range. The default date is determined by your assigned user view.
- Change the time period to view Engagement Minutes by days, weeks, or months.
- Use quick filters to narrow down the accounts included in the chart.
- Hover over the trend line to view the total Engagement Minutes, top activities, and top accounts at a specific point in time.
- Select an activity type to view Engagement Minutes for the activity.

Click and select a relevant Demandbase field from the drop-down list to see Engagement Minutes grouped by that field.
Tips:
- The group by option is not available when you have a specific activity type selected.
- To exit the group by view, select All Activities from the drop-down list and click .
Engagement View for Accounts
If you select an account, the Deal Story view displays by default. To see the Engagement view for the selected account, click Engagement.
You can also access the Engagement view for an account from the following areas:
- Timeline section of the Account Dashboard
- Engagement Minute Trend chart on the Engagement page (available with an account selected)
- Engagement tab of the Sales Intelligence iFrame for Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Outreach
