Understanding the Engagement Points Trend Chart

On the Engagement page in Analytics, the Engagement Points Trend chart shows activity engagement points during the selected date range. This helps you identify what drives engagement and optimize future campaigns.

You can also group engagement points by relevant fields for additional insights.

Important: Activities must have a score assigned in engagement point settings to appear in the chart. See Set Up Engagement Points for Activities.

Access the Engagement Point Trend Chart

From the left navigation bar, go to Analytics2.png Analytics > Engagement, and select an account list or account.

From the chart, you can do the following:

  • Adjust selected date range. 
    Tip: The default date is determined by your assigned user view.
  • Adjust the time period by days, weeks, or months. 
  • Use filters to refine the accounts shown.

When you select an account, the Deal Story view appears by default. To see the Engagement Point Trend chart, click Engagement.

Hover over the trend line to view:

  • Total engagement points
  • Top activities
  • Top accounts at a specific point in time.

Top Activities by Engagement Points

In the Top activities by engagement points section, select a specific activity type to view its engagement points.

Group Engagement by Category

To group engagement by category, click Trend Chart Group By.png Group By and select a field.
Tips: Group By is only available when All Activities is selected. To exit Group By, select All Activities, and click Trend Chart Activities.png Reset.
