Add Automation Actions to Add or Remove People from Salesloft Cadences

Context

When you create an Automation, you can add actions to add or remove people from Salesloft Cadences from the Actions tab. These actions allow you to automate managing people in Salesloft Cadences based on the Selector criteria you specify.

The actions you can add depend on the member type (Account or Person) selected for an Automation. See Automation Actions

Prerequisites/Preparation

You must have Admin privileges or be assigned to a permission set with the required access to use Orchestration.

You have the Demandbase Orchestration solution.

Demandbase Salesloft Integration and active Salesloft Cadences.

Steps: Add People to Cadences

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Orchestration_N.png Orchestration > Automations.
  2. Click Create New to create a new Automation or click the name of an existing Automation.
  3. Click the Actions tab and click the plus icon.
    Tip: You can add multiple actions to an Automation. If an Automation already has an action added, click + Add Action to add another action.

  4. In the Add Action window, select the Partner tab and click Add to Salesloft Cadence.
  5. In the Add to Salesloft Cadence window, enter the following:
    • Salesloft Assigner: Select a user as the assigner. Demandbase pre-populates this field with your username.
    • Salesloft Assignee: Select a user as the assignee.
    • Cadence: Select the cadence to add people to.

  6. Click Save.

Steps: Remove People from Cadences

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Orchestration_N.png Orchestration > Automations.
  2. Click Create New to create a new Automation or click the name of an existing Automation.
  3. Click the Actions tab and click the plus icon.
    Tip: You can add multiple actions to an Automation. If an Automation already has an action added, click + Add Action to add another action.

  4. In the Add Action window, select the Partner tab and click Remove from Salesloft Cadence.
  5. In the Remove from Salesloft Cadence window, enter the following:
    • Salesloft Assigner: Select a user as the assigner. Demandbase pre-populates this field with your username.
    • Cadence: Select the cadence to remove people from.

  6. Click Save.

Outcome

When the Automation runs, Demandbase identifies people that meet the selector criteria and adds or removes them from the selected Salesloft Cadence. 

Next Steps

Click the Scheduler tab to set up the schedule and frequency for the Automation to run.
