Restrictions on Ad Submissions
Follow these restrictions when submitting ad creatives:
- Use HTTPS, not HTTP. Ensure that your tracking server uses the HTTPS protocol and that any internal redirects configured on your end also use HTTPS.
- Do not include unapproved tracking or data collection pixels. Demandbase must approve these pixels before the Insertion Order.
- Do not include fourth-party pixels in ad tags. This includes Rubicon, Marketo, BlueKai, and Xaxis. DoubleVerify and IAS pixels are allowed as monitoring pixels. Due to ad exchange and publisher regulations, data collection through ad tags is not allowed. If you add fourth-party pixels at launch or during the campaign, the creative will be discontinued and the campaign will be paused. This restriction is strictly enforced by ad exchanges.
- Do not use on-page redirects. Redirect mechanisms that use an on-page method, such as a JavaScript redirect, will not work. Change these mechanisms if they are included in your tracking redirect chain.
Outcome of Submitting a Creative Set
Important: Demandbase attempts to match your existing creative as closely as possible. However, allow for slight variations in layout, animation, and text length.
- Personalized banner previews are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Multiple creative sets may take longer.
- Allow at least 48 hours between final approval and the actual launch date for testing.
AdChoices Link in Published Ads
After your ad is published, the AdChoices icon link appears at the top right of the ad. The link provides consumers with information and choices about how and when data is collected or used to serve ads targeted to their likely interests. For more information, see http://youradchoices.com.
