You may encounter errors while exporting account, lead, and contact data from Demandbase (Demandbase One for Sales and Data Integrity) to Salesforce. This article outlines the common causes and instructions to help you resolve them.
Common Root Causes
Export errors typically arise due to one or both of the following reasons:
- In Salesforce, the ISO Picklist is enabled.
- In Demandbase, field mapping is incorrectly configured.
Prerequisites
- You must be a Salesforce admin.
- You must be a Demandbase One for Sales or Data Integrity admin.
Step 1: Verify ISO Picklist Configuration in Salesforce
- Log in to Salesforce and click the top right Setup gear icon.
- From the left navigation bar, go to the Quick Find box, and enter State and Country/Territory Picklists.
- Click State and Country/Territory Picklists.
- Click Enable Picklists for Address Fields button to activate ISO picklists.

Step 2: Check Field Mapping in Demandbase
- Access the field mapping settings by following the instructions in Manage Demandbase One for Sales Field Mapping to CRM.
- Make sure Demandbase fields are mapped to Salesforce fields as follows:
