Set Up Access to Demandbase One for Marketing Dashboard and Reports in Salesforce

The Demandbase Salesforce app package includes a dashboard with Demandbase One for Marketing reports. If you have the required Salesforce sharing permissions, you can configure access to control which users or groups can view the dashboard and reports.

Prerequisites to Set Up Access to Demandbase One for Marketing Dashboard and Reports in Salesforce

• Integrate Demandbase with Salesforce.
• Install the Demandbase-Salesforce app from AppExchange.
• You must have permissions within Salesforce to configure Sharing.
• In Salesforce, there is a limit on dynamic dashboards you can install depending on your license. See Salesforce's article Increase 'Maximum Number of Dynamic Dashboards' limit. 

Set Up Access to Demandbase One for Marketing Dashboard and Reports in Salesforce

1. In Salesforce, select the Dashboards tab.
2. From the left navigation panel, go to Folders > All Folders.
3. In the Search field, search for Sales Insights.
   
4. Click Sales Insights.
5. Click top right New Folder drop-down > Share.
6. From the Share With drop-down, select Users or Public Groups.
   
7. From the Users drop-down, select users or groups.
8. From the Access drop-down, select View.
9. Click Done.
   
10. For reports, click the Reports tab, and repeat the steps.

Outcome of Setting Up Access to Demandbase One for Marketing Dashboard and Reports in Salesforce

The users or groups you selected can access dashboard and reports in Salesforce.
