Create a test form that mirrors the structure and field configuration of your production form. This helps verify that Demandbase can identify the correct fields, map enrichment data, and append values as expected.
For Demandbase to append enrichment data correctly, the configuration must be mapped to the appropriate HTML ID or name attribute for the visitor-facing Company and Email fields, as well as any hidden fields used to capture Demandbase attributes.
These field identifiers must match the values configured during setup. Any discrepancies can prevent Demandbase from locating the correct fields and populating them with enrichment data.
Steps
- Use the same form template that is deployed across your site.
Important: If your site uses multiple form templates that use different HTML naming conventions, see Enrich Multiple Forms on One Page or contact your Demandbase Account Team. - Add hidden fields to your form for the Demandbase attributes you want to capture.
- Confirm that the Demandbase tag is deployed on the page.
