Understanding the Opportunity Dashboard and Opportunities Page

  • Updated

In Demandbase, Opportunities come from your CRM and CSV uploads.

Important: You can only see opportunities matched to an account.

Opportunity Dashboard

The Opportunity Dashboard shows details about the activities and engagement for a single opportunity during the selected date range.

To access the Opportunity Dashboard, from the left navigation bar, go to:

  • Analytics2.png Analytics > Opportunities and select an opportunity from the table.
  • Database_N.png Database > Opportunities, select an opportunity, and click Go to Dashboard at the top of the page.
  • Database_N.png Database > Opportunities > Opportunity Lists, select an opportunity list, select an opportunity, and click Go to Dashboard at the top of the page.

Opportunity Details

The Opportunity Details section displays key information about an opportunity such as the Account Name, Owner, Type, Stage, and Close Date.

The Opportunity Dashboard page in Analytics gives you an overview of a particular opportunity.

Tip: Admins can customize these fields in Settings_N.png Settings > View Management > Configuration > Analytics Detail Fields > Opportunity Details Section.

From the section you can:

  • Click Take Action to perform a task such as adding the opportunity account to an account list or creating a Salesforce task. See Taking Action with Accounts and People.
  • Click Manage Account to go to Database N.png Database > Account to see more information about the opportunity account.
  • Click Account to go to the opportunity Account Dashboard.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to the Take Action button to show additional opportunity account information.

The Highlights section displays the top people and activities for an opportunity, sorted by engagement minutes.

The Timeline section shows the key marketing and sales activities for an opportunity.

Demandbase automatically labels the important marketing activities with the highest number of engagement minutes on the chart. You can hover over a label to see more information on that activity.

You can also see the opportunity stage transitions, as indicated by the crown icon.

The Journey and Opportunity bar charts shows you the progression of the opportunity account through your journey and opportunity stages. They also show you how long it spent in each stage.

Activities Table

The Activities table shows all activities for an opportunity. You can adjust and sort columns, search for activities, and export data directly from the table.
