Demandbase Tag Data Collection

This article provides information about the calls currently fired in the Demandbase Tag. The information provided is not a contract nor does it constitute an agreement between Demandbase and its customers. All data collection is covered in our contracts and Data Processing Addendum.

Demandbase Tag

The Demandbase Tag sends calls to the Demandbase core API and may send additional pixel calls to support analytics and advertising functionality. For more information about Demandbase cookies and pixels, see FAQs: Cookie-based identification.

Demandbase API Call

The Demandbase API call fires on every page view where the Demandbase Tag is installed. Demandbase logs information about the page view and visitor. Demandbase does not share this information with third parties unless noted in this article.

• Visitor IP address
• Visitor X-Forwarded-For header
• Timestamp
• Referrer
• Page URL
• User Agent
• Demandbase Cookie ID
  Important: If the visitor already has a Demandbase Cookie ID, Demandbase logs the existing ID. If the visitor does not have one, Demandbase creates and sets a new ID.

Demandbase Ad Pixel Call

The Demandbase Ad Pixel fires on every page view to support visitor identification and increase reach. The pixel:

• Sends a call to the Demandbase domain, company-target.com.
• Allows Demandbase to log the Cookie ID.
