Field Ingestion Control for Salesforce

Context

Field Ingestion Control for Salesforce allows you to control the Salesforce Account, Contact, Lead, and Opportunity fields you want to sync into Demandbase. You can add or remove fields to focus only on the ones that matter to you. This helps streamline data by reducing the number of synced fields.

Important:

  • You can only control Account, Contact, Lead, and Opportunity fields.
  • You can add or remove fields at any time. Changes are applied retroactively and take effect within 24 hours.

Prerequisites/Preparation

You must have Admin privileges in Demandbase.

The Salesforce field must be visible to the Demandbase-Salesforce integration user.

Steps: Select Fields for New Salesforce Integration

  1. See Step 3: Add the Salesforce Integration to Demandbase One and complete Step 1 and Step 2.
  2. Go to the Account Fields, Contact Fields, Lead Fields, and Opportunity Fields tab and select the Salesforce fields you want to sync into Demandbase.
    • To add fields, search for and drag and drop the fields under My Fields.
    • To delete fields, click the x to the right of the field.
      Important: Demandbase’s Required Fields are automatically selected by Demandbase and can't be edited.
  3. Click Next.

  4. See Step 3: Add the Salesforce Integration to Demandbase One and complete the steps in Step 4: Account Filters.

Steps: Select Fields for Existing Salesforce Integration

  1. In the left navigation bar, go to Settings_N.png Settings > Demandbase-Wide Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click Salesforce
  3. Go to Fields tab.
  4. Click Refresh Fields.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Go to the Account Fields, Contact Fields, Lead Fields, and Opportunity Fields tab and select the Salesforce fields you want to sync with Demandbase.
    • To add fields, search for and drag and drop the fields under My Fields.
    • To delete fields, click the x to the right of the field.

  7. Click Save.
