Understanding Top Buying Groups

The Top Buying Groups section provides a summary about the engagement of your buying groups at an account. It lets you quickly see which buying groups to prioritize based on the engagement of the buying group for this account.

To access the Top Buying Groups section in the Demandbase One for Sales (formerly Sales Intelligence) web app, go to the Account tab of an account and scroll down.

Tip: You can also access the Top Buying Groups section from the CRM iFrame.

The Top Buying Groups section ranks your buying groups by the Engagement Minutes of the buying group for that account and provides the following details in each of its columns.

  • Persona coverage: Shows the percentage of confirmed member personas compared to the key personas identified in the buying group setup.
  • Confirmed member engagement: Shows the percentage of confirmed buying group members with greater than zero Engagement Minutes in the last three months.
    Tip: You can hover over the percentage bar to see engagement at the persona level.
  • Recommended buying members: Shows the number of available buying group contact recommendations at the account.

You can also hover over a value to show links that take you to the People tab for the account. Clicking the links opens the Buying Group sub-tab with pre-applied filters relevant to each value.
