On the Engagement page in Analytics, Deal Story highlights key activities for an account during the selected date range. These activities are based on the highest number of Engagement Points.
You can choose to view Marketing Engagement activities, Sales Engagement activities, or both. It also shows how the account progresses through Journey Stages over time.
Access Deal Story
From the left navigation bar, go to Analytics > Engagement, and select an account. Go to Engagement Points Trend chart > Deal Story.
Deal Story Overview
Click top right Marketing Engagement, Sales Engagement, or both to see activities by segment. See Understanding the Standard Sales Engagement vs. Marketing Engagement Segment.
Hover over the trend line to view:
- Top engagement points
- Top activities
- Top people
The bottom journey bar shows how the account moves through Journey Stages during the selected date range. This helps you see which engagements may have influenced those changes.
