Manage Workspace Assets: Lists, Filters, and Reports

  • Updated

You can move and copy existing assets (lists, filters, and reports) to other Workspaces.

  • You can move or copy lists from the Global Workspace to individual Workspaces.
  • You can copy lists from individual Workspaces to other Workspaces, including the Global Workspace.
  • You can move filters and reports from the Global Workspace to individual Workspaces.

Important:

  • When you move an asset from the Global Workspace to an individual Workspace, it is moved permanently and only accessible to users assigned to that Workspace. Once the assets are moved to the new Workspace, they cannot be moved back to the Global Workspace.
  • Assets that you copy to another Workspace do not sync with the original asset. Any changes you make to the original asset is not reflected in the copied asset.
  • Admins can also manage assets after publishing a Workspace by editing the Workspace. See Manage Workspaces.

Prerequisites

  • You must have a license for Workspaces.
  • You must be assigned to the destination Workspace to move or copy assets to it.

Steps

  1. From the top Workspace navigation bar, select the Workspace that contains the asset you want to move or copy to another Workspace. See Understanding Workspace Navigation for more information.
  2. Navigate to the page for the asset you want to move or copy.
For example, to copy or move an account list, from the left navigation bar, go to Database Database > Accounts > Account Lists.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the asset and click Take action.
Tip: You can move multiple assets to another Workspace in a single action. However, you can only copy one asset at a time.
    • To move the asset to another Workspace, select Send to Workspace. In the window that opens, select the Workspace name, and click Send
Tip: You can only move assets from the Global Workspace.
    • To copy the list to another Workspace, select Duplicate List. In the window that opens, enter a new Title and Description (optional), select the Workspace, and click Duplicate List.
