Remove Demandbase iFrame and App Package from Salesforce

Context

This article provides instructions on how to uninstall the Demandbase Charts and App packages from your Salesforce environment. 

Prerequisites/Preparation

You must have Admin privileges within your Salesforce environment. 

Steps: Remove the Demandbase ABX Visualforce Chart

  1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
  2. At the top right, click the Setup icon.
  3. In the left navigation area, quick search for Customize (Salesforce Classic) or Object Manager (Salesforce Lightning) and choose the object to remove the Demandbase Visualforce chart from. For example, Account.
  4. Click Page Layouts. 
  5. Choose the page layout to edit.

  6. Go to the Visualforce Pages section, search for Demandbase Tabs, and click the Remove icon.

  7. Click Save
  8. Repeat the steps for the Opportunity object if needed. 

Steps: Remove the Demandbase One for Sales Visualforce Chart

  1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
  2. At the top right, click the Setup icon.
  3. In the left navigation area, quick search for Customize (Salesforce Classic) or Object Manager (Salesforce Lightning) and choose the object to remove the Demandbase Visualforce chart from. For example, Account.
  4. Click Page Layouts. 
  5. Choose the page layout to edit.

  6. Go to the Visualforce Pages section, search for InsideView Account Connector, and click the Remove icon.

  7. Click Save
  8. Repeat the steps for Lead and Opportunity objects if needed. 

Steps: Remove Demandbase One for Sales Federated Search Custom Objects

  1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
  2. At the top right click the Setup icon.
  3. In the left navigation area, quick search for External Objects.

  4. In the External Objects page, click the Erase link beside InsideView Accounts and InsideView Contacts.
  5. In the confirmation pop-up, select the Yes, I want to permanently delete the external object type checkbox and click Delete.

Steps: Uninstall the Demandbase ABX App Package

  1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
  2. At the top right click the Setup icon.
  3. Search for and click on Installed Packages.

  4. Click Uninstall next to Demandbase ABM.

  5. Uninstall the App package:
    • Choose whether to save a temporary copy of the package data.
    • Select the Yes, I want to uninstall this package and permanently delete all associated components checkbox.
    • Click Uninstall

  6. The uninstall process might take a few minutes to complete. Refresh the page to view the progress.

Steps: Uninstall the Demandbase One for Sales App Package

  1. Log in to Salesforce as an Admin user.
  2. At the top right click the Setup icon.
  3. Search for and click on Installed Packages.

  4. Click Uninstall next to InsideView for AppExchange.

  5. Uninstall the App package:
    • Choose whether to save a temporary copy of the package data.
    • Select the Yes, I want to uninstall this package and permanently delete all associated components checkbox.
